"In May 2019 my son started the adoption process of his baby girl, Brooklyn. I wanted to do something special to celebrate the arrival of my first granddaughter. After seeing so many amazing pictures of what my friend, Nancy, has done organizing bridal and baby showers and weddings, I asked if she would help me decorate and organize the baby shower. We decided on a Mary Poppins theme. Even though we live 1,800 miles apart, she gave me direction on what to buy, where to find the decorations and party favors, and shared ideas with me via text messages.
